Capital Planning Committee approves $9.8 million in FY27 capital requests.

CANTON — Capital Planning Committee approves $9.8 million in FY27 capital requests spanning municipal and enterprise funds. Chairperson Christopher Deck led four members in voting 24 separate motions, nearly all unanimously, including Fire Department ladder truck replacement ($1.81 million), Water Enterprise ultrafiltration system upgrade ($2.5 million), and Library interior renovations second phase ($1.4 million). The Committee rejected two lower-priority projects: MIS's Library Community Room A/V ($70,000) and Central Maintenance's Memorial Hall HVAC Design ($50,000).

School Department capital requests remain pending review and will be voted at the next meeting.
