CANTON — The Capital Planning Committee extended its fiscal 2027 capital review, pressing eleven municipal and enterprise requests on documentation gaps, cost estimates, and cost allocation. Chair Christopher Deck and committee members examined projects ranging from a $2.5 million water treatment ultrafiltration system and $2.25 million lead service line replacement to $437,000 in Stormwater equipment and a $1.366 million library renovation phase two, asking vendors, engineers, and department heads to justify aging quotes, bundled requests, and unclear contingencies.
