CANTON — Capital Planning Committee recommended Greg Murphy for climate implementation role. The panel voted 5-0-1 on October 14 to send Murphy as its representative to the Climate Action Plan Implementation Committee, which will implement climate action projects expected to go through the CPC. Murphy previously served on the predecessor Sustainability Climate Action Plan Committee and will maintain his Building Renovation Committee seat.
Committee member Lisa R. Lopez announced her resignation effective at the end of her term due to her election as State Representative, requiring the committee to recommend a replacement to the Community Preservation Committee.
