CANTON — Library begins renovation as $125,000 donation arrives. The Board of Library Trustees heard that the library had received a $125,000 gift from Bank of Canton, designated for the Bank of Canton Learning Pavilion, during an update on interior renovation work set to begin in the library lobby. Jack hammering of lobby tiles is planned for one week, with staff encouraged to take vacation during the period.

Director Andrea Capone identified the electronic sign as a capital project need, and the original moving company was replaced, adding a one-week delay. Water heater replacement by central maintenance is underway, and the Friends of the Library are rejoining the state association to plan 2026-27 fundraising.
