Canton Youth Basketball Association's four-week Pre-Season Skills clinic for grades 5-8 continues this week with a Saturday, Sept. 19 session.

CANTON --

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Canton Youth Basketball Association (CYBA) is running its Pre-Season Skills Registration program, a four-week session for players entering grades 5-8 looking to work on dribbling, finishing around the rim, shooting and competitive play ahead of tryouts and the winter season. The sessions, described by CYBA as "thoughtfully put together by an ex-NBA player," are held at the White Mamba (Brian Scalabrine) facility at 24 Industrial Road in Walpole. This week's session falls on Saturday, Sept. 19, from 4 to 5:30 p.m.; additional sessions are set for Sept. 26 and Oct. 3. The cost is $60 for the series. CYBA says it does not want players missing out for financial reasons and directs families needing assistance to Registrar@CantonBasketball.org.

Canton Victory Hockey Association (CVHA) says its Juicebox Hockey program "has started and there is still room for your player," according to the organization's website.
