Library board elects officers, dedicates park pergola

CANTON — Library board dedicates pergola to Quinns, elects new officers. The Board of Library Trustees voted unanimously May 19 to dedicate its new park pergola to Bill and Lisa Quinn. Trustees also elected Peg Mead as Chair, Jan Chamberlain as Vice Chair, and Rob Fichman as Secretary for 2026-2027.
Library Director Andrea Capone reported that the interior renovation is moving forward, with six of eight contractor bids coming in under the estimate. The board unanimously approved flying the Pride flag for June, with an exception for Flag Day on June 14.
